Actress Sai Pallavi has officially come on board D55, Dhanush’s upcoming film directed by Rajkumar Periasamy. The development adds significant weight to the yet-untitled project, which was announced in November last year.

The film will also feature Sreeleela in a key role, making it a strong female-led ensemble alongside Dhanush. Music for the film is composed by Sai Abhyankkar, who is currently on a successful run across industries.

D55 will be produced by Wunderbar Films in association with RTake Studios. The project was initially planned under Gopuram Films before undergoing a change in production. Meanwhile, Dhanush also has Kara with Vignesh Raja and an untitled film with Mari Selvaraj in the pipeline.
