Bison: Kaalamaadan starring Dhruv Vikram in the lead is an upcoming sports drama biopic based on the life of Arjuna award winning Kabbaddi player from Tamil Nadu, Manathi P Ganesan. Bison's trailer released at 8 PM on Monday, October 13, 2025, and the video can be viewed above. 

Applause Entertainment, a venture of the Aditya Birla Group of Companies, has produced Bison alongside director Pa Ranjith's Neelam Productions. Bison: Kaalamaadan is written and directed by Mari Selvaraj of Vaazhai (2024), Maamannan (2023), Karnan (2021), and Pariyerum Perumal (2018) fame. 

In 1995, Manathi P Ganesan became the second Kabbadi player from Tamil Nadu to receive the Arjuna award, the second-highest sporting honour in India. He has since had a stint as a politician, and Bison is the first time, his life story has been made into a movie. 

Also starring Anupama Parameswaran, Lal, Pasupathy, Rajisha Vijayan, Hari Krishnan, Azhagam Perumal, Aruvi Madhanand, Kalaiyarasan, among others, Bison: Kaalamaadan has Nivas K Prasanna for music, Ezhil Arasu K for cinematography, and Sakthi Thiru for edits.
