Streaming platform Amazon Prime Video has now officially announced that Coolie's OTT release date is September 11, 2025. Coolie is the third consecutive Rajinikanth starrer that is making its digital premiere on Prime Video after 4 weeks of its theatrical release.

The Superstar's last two releases Vettaiyan (2024), and Jailer (2023) made their respective OTT premiere on Amazon Prime Video after 29 and 28 days of theatrical release. Coolie's Prime Video release on September 11, 2025 comes 28 days since the film hit theater screens on August 14, 2025.

Coolie written and directed by Lokesh Kanagraj, and produced by Sun Pictures will be available to stream in Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, and Kannada languages. OTT release details of Coolie's Hindi version Coolie: The Powerhouse, currently remain unknown. 

With a runtime of 170 minutes, Coolie follows the story of a retired coolie-turned-boarding house warden, who is drawn back into the underworld, when his late friend’s daughter is targeted by smugglers. As Devaraj "Deva" (Rajinikanth) uncovers a dark web of gold trafficking, organ trade, and betrayal, he finds out that Preethi Rajasekar (Shruthi Haasan) is his own child, and has to hide the truth from her.
