AR Murugadoss directed Madharaasi starring Sivakarthikeyan in the lead is a Sri Laksmi Movies-produced Tamil action thriller, that is all set to release in theaters worldwide on September 5, 2025. Madharaasi first show begins with the USA premiere of the movie at 6 AM IST (8 PM EST on September 4, 2025).

Set in Chennai, Madharaasi revolves around the central character Raghu (Sivakarthikeyan), who traumatized by the loss of his own, is triggered to go to any extent to save others in distress. His psychological condition becomes his greatest weapon, when he’s caught in the crossfire between a ruthless North Indian mafia empire in Tamil Nadu, and a Special Task Force trying to stop it.
Madharaasi also stars Rukmini Vasanth as Raghu's lover Malathy, Vidyut Jammwal as the main villain, Shabeer Kallarakkal as the other villain Chirag, Biju Menon as the Special Task Force officer, Thalaivasal Vijay as a psychiatric doctor, among others.
The movie comes with a runtime of 167. 33 minutes, and has Anirudh Ravichander for music, Sudeep Elamon for cinematography, and Kevin Kumar for the action.
