Anirudh to score music for Aakko

Anirudh will be scoring the music for a new film titled 'Aakko' to be directed by debutante Shyam Kumar. The title Aakko means 'Aarva Kolaaru' and is used to refer extremely curious and over enthusiastic youngsters. Director Shyam has approached Anirudh to play the lead role. Anirudh who had denied the acting offer however had agreed to score the music for the film. Anirudh has tweeted, "Scoring for this fun film Aakko! Full-on Electronic Dance Music album for the first time in Tamil."

Anirudh will be making a cameo appearance in a song. The film is about three enthusiastic youngsters played by Geethan Britto, Arjun and Swaminathan. It will be produced by Rebel Films.

Anirudh's upcoming projects include Velai Illa Pattathari, Maan Karate, Naanum Rowdythaan and Vijay - ARM project.
