The title of actor Jiiva's upcoming thriller, in which he co-stars alongside Priya Bhavani Shankar, has been revealed to be Black. Black's first look poster features a distressed Jiiva, and the film's director Balasubramani has told the media, "We may use the term ‘Black’ to describe the hidden nature of certain aspects of ours, making it difficult for others to comprehend us. The film centers around this theme.”

Black is touted to be an urban mystery thriller that focuses on the events affecting a couple over the course of a night. The film is a production venture of  Potential Studios, and is slated to release in September, 2024.

The technical crew of Black includes Sam CS for music, Gokul Benoy for cinematography, Philomin Raj for edits, Metro Mahesh for stunts, Madhan Karky, Chandru for lyrics and Sherif for choreography.
