Filmmaker Atlee's last directorial outing was his Bollywood debut Jawan (2023), and Atlee's next is a big budget production with Telugu star Allu Arjun in the lead. While an official announcement on this project is currently awaited, the Indian film industry has been buzzing with suggestions about the film's female lead.

Tamil actress Trisha's name was recently associated with the Atlee, Allu Arjun movie, however the makers are seemingly in talks with Samantha Ruth Prabhu to play the female lead of this project. Word also has it that Atlee, Allu Arjun movie plans to begin shooting by October, 2024.
