After an intro video and teaser, the trailer of actor Karthi's upcoming crome comedy Japan has now released in Tamil and Telugu languages. The video elaborates into the background of Karthi's heist mastermind character. 'Japan' was revealed to have 182 cases on him, with police officials from 4 different states chasing after in the teaser. The trailer reveals that the movie's plot revolves around whether he gets caught or not.

Written and directed by Raju Murugan of the National award winning Joker (2016) fame, Japan is scheduled to release in theaters this Diwali i.e. November, 2023. The movie is a production venture of Dream Warrior Pictures and also stars Anu Emmanuel, Telugu actor Sunil, KS Ravikumar among others.

The technical crew of Japan movie includes GV Prakash for music, Ravi Varman for cinematography, Anl Arasu for stunts and Philomin Raj for edits.
