Actor Raghava Lawrence has previously been linked to two of director Lokesh Kanagaraj's movies - Master (2021) and Vikram (2022) but the casting never materialized. Towards the end of 2022, buzz had it that Lokesh Kanagaraj will be producing a movie with Raghava Lawrence in the lead, and it will be directed by Lokesh's close associate and frequent collaborator - director Rathna Kumar. 

While there have been no official announcements on this project yet, latest buzz adds that Lokesh Kanagaraj will also be working on the story, screenplay of this Raghava Lawrence-Rathna Kumar movie. Given that Rathna Kumar has collaborated on almost all of Lokesh's movies on the writing, this update doesn't seem very far-fetched.

It is worth mentioning here that Raghava Lawrence has also been rumoured to star as a villain in Lokesh Kanagaraj directed Kaithi 2, which will see the return of Karthi as Dilli and supposedly Suriya as Rolex too. Kaithi 2 is expected to begin once Lokesh Kanagaraj completes his current LCU movie Leo (2023) starring Vijay in the lead.
