A video of a physical assault on actor Vijay Sethupathi at the Bengaluru airport had recently gone viral, leaving his fans shocked. While no case has been registered on the man who was seen running from behind to kick, he has been identified as one Johnson, who had travelled on the same flight as Vijay Sethupathi's team.

Apparently Johnson and Vijay Sethupathi's assistant got into an argument inflight and it heated up after they landed in Bengaluru. According to the Bengaluru airport police, Johnson was in an inebriated state and had approached Vijay Sethupathi for a selfie when he was walking out of the airport. Smelling alcohol on him, the actor declined the request, and his assistant allegedly pushed Johnson.

Johnson retaliated by breaking the security chain and attacking Vijay Sethupathi's team from behind. The airport security personnel and police could be seen diffusing the situation immediately and the brawl was settled with an apology from Johnson.
