MovieCrow had reported previously that the shooting of Dhanush's upcoming movie Naane Varuven will begin mid-October and earlier today director Selvaraghavan shared that the film officially went on floors with a pooja ceremony. Touted to be an action thriller, Naane Varuven is produced by Kalaipuli S Thanu's V Creations and has Bigil fame Induja Ravichanran playing female lead.

The technical crew of this film includes Yuvan Shankar Raja for music, Arvind Krishna for cinematography and Prasanna GK for the edits.
