Popular production banner AGS Entertainment is backing a film with comedian Sathish as the lead and the title, first of the movie was unveiled recently. The movie which also stars Cooku with Comali fame Pavithra Lakshmi has been titled Naai Sekar (after one of Vadivelu's famous characters) and the movie will feature a dog that travels throughout the story.

Ajeesh of Super Singer fame is composing music for Naai Sekar, which is directed by debutant Kishore Rajkumar. The movie also stars George Mariyan, music composer Ganesh, Ilavarasu, Livingston, Sriman among others.
