MovieCrow had reported back in May that Sony Liv OTT platform was looking to break big in the Tamil market with direct OTT releases and Vijay Sethupathi starrer Kadaisi Vivasayi was one of the movies it was planning on premiering.

More recently we updated that following Aishwarya Rajesh starrer Plan B (which premiered on Sony Liv on July 30), the next Tamil movie to stream on the platform will be this Vijay Sethupathi starrer.

Now it has been revealed that Kadaisi Vivasayi, which also stars Yogi Babu in a prominent role will release on Sony Liv on September 10, 2021. The movie directed by Kaaka Muttai fame Manikandan will be a Vinayagar Chaturthi special premiere and an official announcement on the same is expected sometime soon.
