Director Kathir best known for films like Kadhalar Dinam and Kaadhal Desam is all set to make a comeback in the Tamil film industry. His new movie which he is directing since his last Kannada outing in 2016, will reunite him with A.R. Rahman after 19 years. 

All of Kathir's Tamil directorials except for his debut has had A.R. Rahman for music and this will be the director's fifth time collaborating with the composer after Uzhavan (1993), Kadhal Desam (1996), Kadhalar Dinam (1999) and Kadhal Virus (2002). 

RK International is producing the film and it will be another romantic musical for Kathir. Kishore, son of producer N Ranganathan is playing lead in this project, which is expected to go on floors soon.
