Actor Dhanush who is abroad recently made a Twitter space appearance to promote the release of his film Jagame Thandhiram. The film was originally made for a theaters but lockdown restrictions due to Coronavirus COVID-19 pushed Y Not Studios and Reliance Entertainment into opting for a direct OTT release.
Actor Dhanush who had hoped for a theatrical release of the movie along with his director Karthik Subbaraj, shared how he felt about the current release status.
"It feels like I've been waiting for the release of this movie for years now. I do feel excited that the movie is finally going to reach people.
Though there is a small amount of disappointment that the movie could have reached people under better circumstances or at a better time, I atleast feel happy that I am able to entertain people during lockdown and give them a stress-free experience."
Jagame Thandhiram premieres on Netflix on June 18, 2021. The film comes with a run-time of 2 hours and 37 minutes.
