It was only a week back, Makkal Needhi Maiyam's vice precident Mahendran quits the party citing the issues inside the party. Now, two more popular candidates announces that they have resigned from the party.

Former IAS officer Santosh Babu quits Kamal Hassan's party citing personal issue. It is to be noted that last week, Santosh Babu clarified  about the ongoing issue inside the party and he even conveyed that he will continue to stand with Kamal haasan and Kamal will be his only leader. However this sudden turn of events and him quitting the party comes as a shocker for the party members and Kamal Haasan fans. 

Another popular candidate Padmapriya, who contested from Maduravoyal Assembly constituency as MNM candidate too quits the party for 'some reasons'

CK Natural's Kumaravel, Trichy Muruganandam, Kameela Nasser, Dr. Mahendrian were other popular members who have quitted the party recently.

With almost all key members resigning from the party, the party cadre are now wondering about what what would be Kamal Haasan's next step in keeping the party afloat.
