The second wave of COVID-19 in Tamil Nadu has brought in stricter restrictions and social distancing rules because of which movie theaters in the South-Indian state are going on a complete shut-down soon. Movies like MGR Magan (scheduled to release this April 23) and Doctor (scheduled for Ramzan release mid-May) have already postponed their release dates indefinitely.

This inturn is expected to affect the schedule of other movies like Arun Vijay's Borrder, which was come out on May 28, 2021.
