Actor Dhanush's upcoming film Jagame Thandhiram was one the movies expected to release in 2020 before the pandemic situation put a dent in the plans. And even though the producers claimed back then that the movie will not be releasing directly on OTT platforms, latest buzz suggests otherwise.

Word is that Jagame Thandhiram is gearing up for a digital release on Netflix and a premiere date is expected to be announced officially sometime soon. A gangster thriller, Jagame Thandhiram is directed by Karthik Subbaraj and also stars Aishwarya Lekshmi, Hollywood actor James Cosmo and Sanchana Natarajan among others.

The film is produced by Y Not Studios and has Santhosh Narayanan for music.
