Back in March, actress Kajal Aggarwal had said during a media chat with her fans that she will be collaborating with actor Vijay soon, which many had taken it as a hint for Thuppakki 2. Now with cinematographer Santosh Sivan's Instagram post, many Vijay fans are convinced that Thalapathy 65 is going to be Thuppakki sequel with director A.R. Murugadoss. 

While there have been no official announcements, new reports are emerging that to accommodate long dates for Thuppakki 2, actress Kajal Aggarwal has quit a Telugu film titled Acharya where she was to share screen space with Chiranjeevi. It is worth mentioning here that prior to this, actress Trisha had quit Acharya for Ponniyin Selvan.
