Earlier today, Prime Minister of India Narendra Modi addressed the nation on the Coronavirus crisis through a video message and one of the requests he put forth to the Indian citizens is gaining a lot of attention right now. The PM said,

"On April 5, Sunday, at 9 pm, I want 9 minutes from all of you. Turn off all the lights in your homes, stand at your doors or balconies and light candles, diya (lamp) or mobile flashlights for 9 minutes,"

This is the second time the PM has requested a mass movement from India following the claps/plate-banging/bells-ringing he had ordered last month as a show of respect to the workers in the service areas. But keeping in mind how the plan back-fired to an extent last time, the PM had also asserted that no one must 'gather on roads' as it moots the very purpose of a lock-down.
