In an aid to support the battle against novel Coronavirus COVID-19, actor Sivakarthikeyan has become one of the first actors to make a monetary contribution to the Tamil Nadu Chief Minister's Public Relief Fund. Sivakarthikeyan has donated Rs. 25 lakh to the public fund and this comes in addition to the actor's donation of Rs. 10 lakh towards the daily wage workers of the Tamil film industry. 

It is worth mentioning here that 7 more people have tested positive for COVID-19 in Tamil Nadu today (including 5 with a history of travel to Delhi) and this has taken the total tally corona-positive cases to 74 in the state.
