Thirudan Police, a dropped project of Dhanush's from 2006 is currently the talk of the town, thanks to a poster of the movie which has surfaced on the internet. Believed to be the first look of the film, this image reveals that Dhanush was to follow-up Pudhupettai with yet another intense performance.

It is worth mentioning here that Thirudan Police was to be directed by cinematographer Aravind Krishna, with songs by Na. Muthukumar and music by Yuvan Shankar Raja. The film which was to be a home production for Dhanush got shelved due to reasons unknown.
