One of 2019's memorable Tamil movies was the romantic anthology Sillu Karupatti directed by Halitha Shameem and fans of the movie were looking forward to the director's next movie/announcement. It so happens Shameem had begun Aelay last year, which is a joint production venture of Pushkar-Gayathri, Y Not Studios and Reliance Entertainment and Samuthirakani in the lead. 

And recently, Shameem updated her fans via twitter that Aelay is in post production stage and they can look forward to the film releasing soon. Written and directed by her, the movie has Kaber Vasuki for music, Theni Easwar for cinematography and Raymond Derrick Crasta for the edits.
