After delivering a blockbuster hit in Mollywood with 'Drishyam', director Jeethu Joseph and Mohanlal are teaming up for the second time for a yet another thriller. The film has been titled Ram. Mohanlal shared the title and first look poster of the film on his Twitter page.

Trisha has been roped in as the leading lady opposite Mohanlal in this untitled film. She will play the character of Mohanlal's wife in the film. Trisha made her Mollywood debut with Nivin Pauly's Hey Jude in 2018. This marks her second film in Malayalam and her first collaboration with Mohanlal and Jeetu Joseph. 

In a recent interview, the director said the movie will be an action thriller with a realistic touch. The story is set in several countries and the film is set to made on a big budget. Ram will not be a bilingual and is set to be made in Malayalam only. The film carries the tagline 'He has no boundaries' and is set to hit the screens for Onam 2020. Ram is bankrolled by Ramesh P Pillai and Sudhan S Pillai under the banner of Abhishek Films.
