Kerala State Film Awards 2025: Tovino Thomas Wins Special Jury Mention for ARM

Tovino Thomas has received the Special Jury Mention (Acting) at the 55th Kerala State Film Awards for his performance in Ajayante Randam Moshanam (ARM). The actor impressed the jury with his versatile portrayal of three distinct characters, marking his first-ever triple role on screen.

Tovino expressed his happiness, saying he was initially sceptical about pulling off the roles but was motivated by friends. He added that the film’s success brought him immense joy, despite its strenuous production.

He also congratulated Mammootty for winning Best Actor for Bramayugam and Asif Ali for receiving a Special Jury Mention for Kishkindha Kaandam.

ARM additionally bagged awards for Best Playback Singer – Male (K.S. Harishankar for “Kiliye”) and Best VFX (Jithin Lal, Albert Thomas, and Anirudhda Mukherjee)
