Karthi is on cloud nine following the overwhelming response to his latest release 'Kaithi' which is a huge success at the Box Office. The film has turned out to be a profitable venture in all territories both at the domestic and overseas markets. The film is into third week now. 

The Telugu version of the film 'Kaidhi' has been performing well in AP / TG where Karthi holds a solid fan base. The film has collected around Rs. 12.3 cr in 2 weeks and earned a share of around Rs. 7 cr. The film has crossed the lifetime collection of Khakee (Telugu version of Theeran Adigaram Ondru) which held the record for Karthi's highest grossing Telugu film. With the film's rights sold for Rs. 3.5 cr, Kaithi has been declared a 'blockbuster' in this region.
