As Karthi's upcoming film Kaithi gets closer and closer to release, details about the movie keep emerging. Latest on this Lokesh Kanagaraj directorial is that it comes with a run-time of 2 hours , 27 minutes and 12 seconds. Though an official confirmation is awaited, it is being said that the run-time is split into 1 hour, 19 minutes and 32 seconds for the first half and 1 hour, 7 minutes and 40 seconds for the second. 

Censored U/A, Kaithi which has Karthi playing Yogeeswaran aka Dilli, a life-convict on-the-run who is trying to meet his daughter for the first time in 10 years. The prison-break drama is touted to release on either October 24 or 25 and also stars Narain, Yogi Babu, Gerorge Maryan, Ramana, Vijay TV Dheena, Ponvannan, Thalaivasal Vijay among others.
