Actress Tamannaah's upcoming Tamil horror-comedy Petromax which is directed by Rohin Venkatesan has been scheduled for a Diwali release, according to latest developments. The movie will be meeting Vijay's Bigil and Karthi's Kaithi at the festival box-office, though all these three films await official release date announcements. 

Earlier scheduled for a release in September, 2019, Petromax was delayed for reasons unknown and now trade sources predict that it will be a tough competition for the films to face two big starrers in movie theaters. 

Produced by Eagle’s Eye Production, Petromax also stars Yogi Babu and Kaali Venkat among others and has Ghibran for music.
