Suriya’s Kaappaan will have a major release in Kerala with 155+ screens in Kerala. Tomichan Mulakupadam, one of the leading producers has acquired the distribution rights for a decent price. It is worth mentioning that it s a pretty good screen count after new rules.

Touted to be a spy thriller, the film has Suriya, Mohanlal, Sayyeshaa and Arya in lead roles with Harris Jayaraj composing music. The film is produced by Lyca Productions at a whopping budget.
