Actor Rajinikanth, who is currently busy with his upcoming cop-based thriller with A.R. Murugadoss may have line-up his second consecutive film with the director as well. Reportedly, the superstar actor had listened to a story by Murugadoss for Thalaivar 168 (Rajini's next after Darbar) and liked the same. 

And if all goes well, Lyca Productions, the banner bankrolling Thalaivar 167 i.e. Darbar may end up backing the next film too. It is worth mentioning here that, earlier director Siva was said to be in talks for directing Rajinikanth but currently he is lined-up for helming Suriya's next film.
