Filmmaker Cheran, who was supposed to get eliminated, based on the weekly eviction process has been retained in the show by giving ‘The Secret Room’ option. The filmmaker, who has completed 77 days inside the Bigg Boss House decided to take up this opportunity.

Even before the official announcement could be made on this, there were few things hinting about it. The first one was Cheran’s eviction shot show in the visual promos, which is something more off a never-seen-before element in Bigg Boss show as the eviction would be kept as a secret thing.

On the other hand, as soon as Cheran came out of the Bigg Boss house to meet Kamal Haasan, he instantly asked “I don’t find my family here”, which furthermore hinted for a surprise twist. Moreover, despite the secret room kept ready from a long time, there haven’t been any contestants given that opportunity. It is worth mentioning that Kasthuri, who got evicted in a span of just 2 weeks stay was asked if she prefers Secret Room stay, which she rejected.
