News has been doing the rounds that the release date of Mission Mangal is likely to be preproned to August 9 instead of its original date of August 15, so as to avoid a clash with Prabhas starrer Saaho. With the makers having confirmed that the film will release as per plan, Akshay Kumar's film is all set to clash with Saaho at the Box Office this Independence Day.
Mission Mangal, touted as India's first space drama has been produced by Kumar's Cape of Good Films and Fox Star Studios. The film helmed by Jagan Shakti also stars Kriti Kulhari, Sonakshi Sinha, Sharman Joshi and Nithya Menon.
On the other hand, makers of Akshay Kumar starrer Sooryavanshi directed by Rohit Shetty have preponed the film's release date to avoid a clash with Salman Khan's Inshallah which will be releasing on Eid 2020.
