Akshay Kumar is currently busy shooting for his upcoming action entertainer 'Sooryavanshi' directed by Rohit Shetty. The film which was slated for release on Eid 2020 has now been preponed to 27th March, 2020. Salman Khan took to his Twitter page to announce the new release date of the film.

The makers of Sooryavanshi have preponed the film's release to avoid a clash with Salman Khan's Inshallah. Recently the makers of Inshallah announced the release date of the film as Eid 2020, following which Sooryavanshi makers have locked March 27, 2020 as the film's release date. Interestingly Salman Khan himself has made the announcement on his social media page.

The film also features Katrina Kaif. Sooryavanshi is the fourth movie in Rohit Shetty’s cop universe, after Singham, Singham Returns and Simmba. Presented by Reliance Entertainment, Sooryavanshi is produced by Rohit Shetty Picturez in association with Dharma Productions and Cape of Good Films.
