Suriya’s upcoming film NGK (Nandha Gopalan Kumaran) which is directed by Selvaraghavan and produced by SR Prabhu from Dream Warrior Pictures is scheduled for a release on May 31, 2019. The latest update about the film is that the Andhra/Telangana rights of the film has been acquired by Sathya Sai Art for a whooping Rs. 9 Cr. Meanwhile, the team has submitted the film for the censor process and certification is expected to be out in the upcoming week. 

NGK is a political thriller with Suriya playing titular role and Yuvan Shankar Raja for music. The movie has which also stars Rakul Preet Singh and Sai Pallavi has had a teaser and album release so far.
