A.R. Rahman's 99 Songs gets a release date!

 

99 songs, a romantic musical written and produced by A.R. Rahman has been in the making for a few years now and recently the Oscar winning musician announced a release date for the film. Rahman's production debut which stars Ehan Bhat and Edilsy Vargas in the lead will hit theater screens in Tamil, Hindi and Telugu on June 21, 2019. 


99 songs is produced by YM Studios in association with Jio Studios and also stars Manisha Koirala, Lisa Ray, Thomas Andrews and Aditya Seal among others. Reportedly, the movie is about a struggling singer's path to self-discovery and is directed by Vishwesh Krishnamoorthy.
