Rajinikanth, Akshay Kumar's 2.0 cleared for release in Pakistan!

PUBLISHED DATE | 27/Nov/2018

The Pakistani CBFC which had ordered 17 cuts and demanded the scene where India defeats Pakistan in a cricket match to be reversed for Rajinikanth's Kaala, has now given a cut-free green signal for his upcoming film 2.0. Talking about the same, a Pakistani CBFC official  has been quoted to have said,

“All members came to a unanimous decision regarding the release of 2.0. We agreed on a universal rating for the film as we did not find anything objectionable within the content and everything was in line with our policy. Therefore, all distributors are free to release the film without any cuts,”

And given Bollywood movies' popularity quotient in Pakistan, the presence of Akshay Kumar in 2.0 is only expected to amp the selling point of the film in that country. The movie will be releasing in more than 10 theaters in all major cities like Islamabad, Karachi, Lahore and others. Advance bookings for the film have also been announced in the country.
