Nayanthara starrer Kolamaavu Kokila has been on a magical run at the Box office ever since it released on August 17. Directed by Nelson Dilipkumar, the dark comedy film has been winning praises from audience and critics alike. The female-led comedy drama has been appreciated for its quirky execution and the music as well. The film has music by Anirudh and is bankrolled by Lyca Productions. 

The film has minted Rs. 20 crore at the Box Office in 9 days and has been declared a blockbuster already. Kolamaavu Kokila has recorded the highest ever opening for a heroine-centric film in Kollywood. The film has been topping the Box Office (both TN and Chennai) for the second weekend in a row. The film is expected to continue in its steady run in its second week too.
