Pyaar Prema Kaadhal (PPK )starring Harish Kalyan and Raiza Wilson in the lead roles is directed by Elan hit the screens on Friday (August 10). The film had a good pre-release buzz as Bigg Boss contestants were cast as the lead pair and also due to the popularity of the songs. The film has received positive response from both the audience and critics for its refreshing approach on modern day romance. Yuvan Shankar Raja has scored the music as well as produced the film.

The film has grossed around Rs. 3.6 crore in its opening weekend in Tamil Nadu and has minted Rs. 69 lakhs in Chennai City alone. The film witnessed good occupancy in theatres on Monday. PPK has got a good opening at the Box Office and is expected to have a strong run in its first week with an added bonus of Independence day holiday on Wednesday.
