Seema Raja starring Siva Karthikeyan and Samantha in the lead roles is directed by Ponram. According to reports, the film is about how the descendants of yesteryear Zamindhars (landlords) live their lives in modern day. SivaKarthikeyan essays the role of Seema Raja. Samantha plays the role of a martial arts teacher who teaches Silambam. She had undergone special training for her role as Silambam teacher. Her character name is Sudhandhira Devi. 

Napolean plays Siva Karthikeyan's father while Simran plays a powerful antagonist in the film. Seema Raja produced by 24AM Studios is slated for release on September 13, 2018. Imman has scored the music. The first single Varen Varen has been released yesterday.
