SPB, Ilayaraja bury their hatchet?

 

If one may recall, only last year singer SP Balasubrahmanyam and composer Ilayaraja were entangled in a very public messy legal tangle over copyright issues. Obviously, this was a shocker to the whole industry, given the bond the musical duo shared over the years. However, all that seems to be under the bridge right now, for in a recent TV show that SPB judges, he was seen speaking at length about his musical comrade with Ilayaraja and summing it up with a "The greatest musical combination that had ever happened in Tamil or South Indian film industry is Ilayaraja and SP Balasubrahmanyam. No second thoughts about it." 


This was further confirmed by Ilayaraja's nephew and noted film director Venkat Prabhu who took to his twitter page to write:
