Director Vishnuvardhan who had directed films like "Billa" and "Arrambam" who has been off the Kollywood radar for quite sometime is back in the news again with the announcement of his new project. Director Vishnuvaradhan is all set to make his Bollywood debut with Karan Johar's Dharma Productions bankrolling the project. Sidharth Malhotra will play the lead role in this war drama. The film is based on the true story of Kargil war hero Vikram Batra.

Producer Karan Johar made the announcement on his Twitter page. He wrote:

Vishnu had last directed Yatchan in 2015 starring Arya and his brother Kreshna in the lead roles.
