Mani Ratnam's upcoming mult-starrer film 'Chekka Chivantha Vaanam' (CCV) is one of the most awaited films in Kollywood. The film shooting began on February 14 and was put on hold due to the film industry strike, After the end of the strike, the team resumed the film shoot on April 23. Vijay Sethupathi has joined the sets of CCV to shoot for his portions. Cinematographer Santosh Sivan who couldn't contain his excitement on shooting Vijay Sethupathi shared a picture of the actor from the sets on his Twitter page.

The film has a stellar cast of Simbu, Vijay Sethupathi, Arun Vijay, Arvind Swamy, Aditi Rao Hydari, Jyothika and Aishwarya Rajesh. Chekka Chivantha Vaanam is titled Nawab in Telugu and has music by A.R. Rahman, cinematography by Santhosh Sivan and edits by Sreekar Prasad. The film is produced by Madras Talkies and will be presented by Lyca Productions.
