Mr. Chandramouli featuring the father-son duo actors Karthik and Gautham Karthik is directed by Thiru. Regina Cassandra and Varalakshmi Sarathkumar play the female leads. 

The film shooting is in progress. Regina Cassandra has completed her talkie portion and only songs are left to be shot. She will join the team back again for the song shoot. The team had arranged for a cake cutting ceremony after the wrapping up of the shoot thanking Regina for her contribution.

The film borrows the title from the famous dialogue Mr Chandramouli by Karthik in the yesteryear blockbuster Mouna Ragam. The is the first time the father-son duo are sharing the screen space together. 

The film will hit the screens on April 27. Mr. Chandramouli is produced by G. Dhananjayan.
