Venkat Prabhu's RK Nagar begins shooting

Actor-director Venkat Prabhu's upcoming production ventire RK Nagar, which is being bankrolled under his banner Black Ticket Company, has begun shooting. As the name suggests, RK Nagar is a political film with elements of thriller and romance in it. Incidentally, Venkat Prabhu's father Gangai Amaren was one of the candidates to be contesting from the much talked-about RK Nagar by elections that were recently cancelled in Tamil Nadu. 

Written and directed by Saravana Rajan, the film has Vaibhav Reddy and Sana Althaf in the lead. The technical crew includes Venkat Prabhu's brother Premji Amaren for the music, Venkatesh for cinematography and Praveen KL for the edits.
