Dhanush begins shooting for VIP 2 in 2017

Actor Dhanush was recently in the news for the trailer/teaser releases from his upcoming movie with director Gautham Menon, Ennai Noki Payyum Thotta. With only 15 days pending for shooting of the film, we hear that the actor would now be shifting his focus on his other project, VIP 2. Though the team of VIP 2 already initated their shooting process with Rajinikanth's blessings in 2016, full-fledged work is said to have begun only earlier today. Dhanush is said to have lent his full schedule to this movie until March this year, when he will be seen wrappping up Ennai Noki Payyum Thotta. 

Directed by Soundarya Rajinikanth, VIP 2 has Sean Roldan for the music and Sammer Tahir cranking the camera. The movie will see bollywood actress Kajol playing a pivotal role with the rest of the cast from the prequel, Vellai Illa Pattadhaari. The sequel is being produced by Kalaipuli S Thanu of V Creations in association with Wunderbar Films.
