US Theatrical Rights of Baahubali 2 Sold To Great India Films 

A day after refuting the collaboration, Great India Films, a renowned distributor of Indian movies in the US have confirmed their partnership with Arka Media Works to distribute Baahubali II : The Conclusion. Reportedly the deal has been closed for a whopping amount of 40 crores. This means that Great India Films will now distribute the Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam and Hindi version of the movie across the US. It is to be noted that the US theatrical rights of the movie's prequel were sold only for 11 crores. Thanks to the humongous box-office success and the cult status of its prequel, the market value and expectations surrounding Baahubali II : The Conclusion have already sky-rocketed. 

An SS Rajamouli directorial, the film will have the original star cast of Prabhas, Rana Daggubati, Anushka Shetty, Tamannah Bhatia and Sathyaraj. The movie is slated for a worldwide release on April 28, 2017.
