In the last two years, Mollywood actor Dulquer Salmaan has proven to pull in crowds with his movies in the Tamil market.While Kannum Kannum Kollayadithaal (2020) had a phenomenal run in theaters, Kurup, the actor's latest release had quite the opening in Tamil Nadu, despite being a dubbed version. 

Three top Tamil producers are currently looking to bank on this new found popularity of Dulquer Salmaan in the Tamil market. While they are keen on signing the Malayalam star actor for their upcoming projects, one of the banners is said to have initiated talks too. Official details are expected to be announced once things get finalized.

It is worth mentioning here that Dulquer is also awaiting the release of another Tamil movie titled Hey Sinamika, which is directed by Brinda Master and stars Kajal Aggarwal and Aditi Rao Hydari among others.
