Vasanth misses his target by quite some distance in MPMK

Director Vasanth has missed to make an engaging screenplay. The first half with Vemal and Lasini will really test your endurance. The linking of all three love stories lack conviction. The dialogues are mostly bland and more often than not, the characters in the movie are the only ones who laugh for...(more)

Works in parts

The songs of Yuvan Shankar Raja are already popular and gel quite well with the narration. Even though Aaha Kaadhal has been filmed fairly well, the power that the lyrics and the music had created has not been totally translated visually. Average

On the downside MPMK moves at a leisurely pace as the director takes his own time as each love story takes time to unfold and is explained in detail with songs coming in at frequent intervals. Well that`s Vasanth style of storytelling. (more)

Moondru Per Moondru Kadhal lacks the intensity expected of a Vasanth film

He is known for exploring the different facets of love through his films. In Moondru Per Moondru Kadhal, he has att...(more)

Watch Moondru Per Moondru Kaadhal if you love to watch movies that have good subject.

Performance wise, as said before, Arjun Sarja and Cheran comes out with flying colours. Surveen Chawla and Muktha Banu try to match up with their counterparts. Vimal and Lasini would have worked hard on their roles. Thambi Ramaih's character is praise worthy.(more)

Moondru Per Moondru Kadal has little charm, unlike its songs.

The movie attempts at a mature take on the three relationships but unfortunately is far from convincing. The movie begins with Vemal and Lasini, who sadly don't endow it with enough meat to make it interesting. Also to blame is the editing, as little has been done to clip out several long and tiring...(more)

More notable for what it tries to do than what it ends up doing.

The ill-fitting songs ('Aaha kaadhal' is lovely) can be brushed off as inevitable commercial compromises, but it's harder to look past the strain of well-intentioned earnestness that informs the filmmaking. High-mindedness is a fine quality, and we need more filmmakers who steer clear of the roads e...(more)
