Looks like all the critics are too high on something while watching this film. The start of the film was on a excellent note, Mariyan(Dhanush) talking to his lover on the phone and the then the subsequent kidnap scene. But soon the film unravels pretty quickly to the disappointment of the audience.A song in the desert with his lover as a mirage!! It Felt so bland and amateurish concept. Songs by AR Rahman are beautiful.More so in the sense that it carried some energy and feel that the film could not convey properly. Atleast you could accept the first half and the interactions in a fishing community but the later half lacked energy.Some scenes are elongated for no reason whatsoever. Overall an average film saved by Dhanush and Parvathy. (more)
