n interesting idea diluted by silly jokes!

Gurkha begins on an insipid note and the initial parts are anything but funny. Not sure how many find someone reading a book upside down or saying Gandhi is the father of VTV Ganeshan remotely funny. Gurkha takes place inside a mall, where a group of people, along with Margot, is held hostage by self-proclaimed terrorists. How appropriate, I wondered, for the actual hostages are the ones sitting inside the theatre.(more)
